Function Description:

This command is used to create a 3D solid cone. Creates a 3D solid with a circular or an elliptical base. The 3D solid is symmetrical and conical, on the top all points get together at one point or one circle or ellipse plane. User can use the FACETRES system variable to control the smoothness of 3D curve solids in a shaded or hidden visual style. Users can create a frustum by specifying the Top radius. At first, the default value of base radius has not been specified. During the operation, the previously inputted radius of base becomes its default value.

Command Prompts:

Specify center point of base or [3P/2P/Ttr/Elliptical]:

Center point of base

2P:
Specifies that the height of the cone is the distance between the two specified points.
Axis endpoint:
Specifies the endpoint of the cone axis. The axis endpoint can be vertex of cone or vertex of frustum; as well it can be any place in 3D space. The axis endpoint defines the length and direction of the cone.
Top radius:
Specifies the top radius of the cone. At first, the default value of the top radius has not been set; during the drawing session, the previously inputted radius of top radius becomes its default value.

- Diameter:
Specifies the diameter for the base of the cone. Initially, the default diameter is not set to any value. During a drawing session, the default value for the diameter is always the previously entered diameter value for any solid primitive.

Defines the base circumference and base plane of the cone by specifying three points.

2P

Defines the base diameter of the cone by specifying two points.

Ttr

Defines the base of the cone with a specified radius tangent to two objects. Sometimes, more than one base matches the specified criteria. The program draws the base of the specified radius whose tangent points are closest to the selected points.
