CLIPIT Command

Function Description:

This command is used to clip or remove specified portions of blocks, Xref drawings, images, and wipeout objects by defining polyline, circle, arc, ellipse, text, mtext, or attribute definition as clipping boundaries. And you can set the maximum allowable error distance for resolution of arc segments.

Command Prompts:

Pick a POLYLINE, CIRCLE, ARC, ELLIPSE, or TEXT object for clipping edge...

Pick an IMAGE, a WIPEOUT, or an XREF/BLOCK to clip...

Enter maximum allowable error distance for resolution of arc segments\<current>:

Operation example:

1. Starts the CLIPIT command.
2. Selects the circle as the clipping boundary, as shown in the image below.

3. Selects Xref, as shown below.

4. Specifies the arc resolution of the clipping boundary. 5. The cropping is completed, and the result is as shown in the figure below.
